Our story.

Sometimes, life has a way of bringing the right people together at just the right time. For Cindy and Ian, that moment came in 2018 when they were 21. Cindy’s middle school best friend from the Poconos, where she grew up, Courtney, had made a new friend at West Chester University—a York, PA native who had just transferred from community college.

That friend, of course, was Ian. When he and Cindy met, they clicked, bonding over their shared love of great food, dancing, travel, and sports. Over time, Cindy won Ian over to two of her greatest loves: cats and the New York Mets (no small feat!). Ian got Cindy into Duke basketball and became her unofficial fashion consultant—though she’ll never admit just how often his advice hits the mark.

In 2023, Ian and Cindy made it official and got engaged. They got lunch on a rooftop in Queens then went to see a Mets game.

Today, their lives are filled with joy, laughter, and the delightful chaos of raising their beautiful daughter, Rosalie, who will turn two later this year. A headstrong foodie with a love for dancing, Rosalie is the perfect blend of her mama and dada (we’ll let you guess who passed on which traits!).

The three share a cozy home in Lincoln Park, NJ, with their two beloved cats, Marty McFly and Toto. Surrounded by their favorite people in their favorite city, Cindy and Ian can’t wait to tie the knot and begin the next chapter of their lives together!
